Sandalwood will be celebrating its very first Education Week. Our theme is "Sandalwood Celebrates Diversity". A variety of exciting events will be taking place from Monday through Friday involving all students and staff.
With the entire school participating, a collage of 1200 Coat of Arms will be displayed on 50 display boards in the main foyer. Students will also create a diversity chain made up of 1200 links symbolizing the meaning of diversity as it is interpreted by each student. Thirteen department display boards representing diversity within the curriculum will showcase student work and achievement. These displays can be viewed on Wednesday, April 23 from 5:30 pm. to 7:30 pm.
April 23rd will also bring cuisines from around the world to parents, students and the community. This day will welcome the most anticipated grand opening of our very own state of the art restaurant. Sandalwood Hospitality students and staff will prepare and serve a buffet dinner of cultural dishes for parents and students.
Sandalwood’s got talent! On April 24th students will showcase their talent through song, dance and comedy to wow the crowd. In addition, Sandalwood will celebrate Vaisakhi on April 11th with vibrant and energetic traditional Punjabi dances of Bhangra and Gidda.
Our last day of festivities will include a formal sit down staff dinner in our new Bistro restaurant. Dinner tickets are on sale now for $7.00 during lunch periods.
